Tampa
knows how to party and here are the highlights of the St.
Patrick's Day Parade in YBOR City.

Street
after street after street of nightclubs, galleries, coffee
houses, restaurants, entertainment. They block off the
streets on the weekends and thousands of people come here to
dance, party and have an excellent time. Although this place
is busy all week long. There is every kind of nightclub
you can think of and things get very wild here. YBOR
City was voted one of the best places in the country to meet
singles!!!
The
Annual Gasparilla Illuminated Night Parade in February and the
St. Patricks Day Parade, completely out of control, beads
everywhere, the parades lasted 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Most
floats equipped with full bars and kegs and loud music
blasting off of the floats including "Forbidden
Love" and 2Twenty2's dance song, Don't Hate Me thanks to
The Krewe of the Zangaro. I heard Forbidden Love being
played and climbed a hill and began singing and dancing, what
an incredible time.
They
have three of these parades between the first weekend of
February and St. Patrick's Day not to be missed.
The
Gate into YBOR City it seems quiet here, but a few blocks away
the pre-parade party in the staging area is in high gear.

I
spent the duration of the parade on Justin's shoulder's and we
caught lots of beads for each other and I had a beer and took
all these photos too. Thanks Justin!!!
