CONNERY
FAIRE is a band formed around lead vocalist Conni
Whitley and multi-instrumentalist David Mikael (from
MPG and DAVID). Together they wrote the 10 songs on
their first CD. Musically it is AOR orientated,
although not all of the time it is pure AOR. The fans
of female fronted AOR/Melodic Rock can easily buy
this, as this is a very good album in the style of the
first two MARGARETH BECKER albums, CINDY BULLENS and
CINDY CRUSE. The Best songs are the AOR rockers
"I'm not your judge", "I went to
heaven" and "Who cares?', although calmer
melodic songs such as "My king" and the 80s
funky AOR/Poprocker "Praise God" can also
not be missed here. These are all radio-ready hit
potential tunes and a must to hear if you enjoy the
classic 80s Christian AOR/Melodic Poprock of mentioned
artists.
